Vista's Dylan Lane and Jeff Trulove of Hemet won the overall motorcycle title, and the team of Poway's Cory Hove and El Cajon's Cliff and Kristen Matlock won the overall quad title of last weekend's Best In The Desert Silver State 300 off-road race at Mesquite, Nev. El Cajon's Mark McMillin was eighth overall in the four-wheel division won by Sam Berri of Murphys, Calif. Lane and Trulove rode a Honda to the race's fastest time – 5 hours, 38 minutes and 20 seconds. Hove and the Matlocks completed the race in 7:06:57. Berri's elapsed time was 5:52:22. Five other San Diego County teams won class titles. Kyle Conlon of Campo and Jake Velasco of San Diego were 18th overall and first in a limited buggy class, and the father-son team of John R.
