The star of High School Musical is recovering from an unprovoked attack that took place as he left a West End theatre with girlfriend Vanessa Hudgens last night. Zac Efron was leaving the Apollo in London's Shaftesbury Avenue when a middle-aged man - thought to be a deranged fan - began shouting and pointing at him.
