Salliwood certainly suited by saddle

Many of the connections of Salliwood have an affiliation with the galloping code so it is no surprise the winner of Andrea's Birthday Pace at Forbury Park tonight (9 October) has done a lot of work in the saddle. Hamilton Bloodstock, which bred Salliwood in partnership with Dave Carville, is owned and operated by Murray Hamilton who also trains thoroughbreds. Her trainer Tony Barron also has a permit to train thoroughbreds. His galloper, Gothesting, finished fifth in the Meadowlands Racing Stable maiden at Ascot Park on Sunday and coincidentally, the Meadowlands stable is run by thoroughbred trainers Ben and Sally Gordon who are the owners of Salliwood.
