"If it takes me going down to Worcester to show I can still play hockey and I’m healthy, that’s what I’m going to do," McLaren said Wednesday night. "I’m not done yet." McLaren, 31, has one year left on a contract that will pay him $2.5 million whether he plays in Worcester or with an NHL team. He became the odd-man out with the Sharks, who found themselves with eight NHL-caliber defensemen and about $1.5 million over the league’s $56.7 million salary cap on the eve of the 2008-09 season.
