Let the oohs and ahs go forth. Mike Manzo, former chief of staff to House Democratic Leader Bill De-Weese, yesterday testified in a court proceeding that he believes that DeWeese knew all along about illegal bonuses paid to staffers with $1.3 million of taxpayers' money for work on political campaigns. What he actually said was, "I believe he did, yes." This would seem to make life tougher for DeWeese as he seeks (in less than a month) his 17th two-year term as a representative of faraway Greene County...
