OLYMPIA: King County transfers forest to state, will still get revenue

Published: October 9th, 2008 12:30 AM King County is transferring nearly 1,500 forested acres in the Snoqualmie area to the Washington State Department of Natural Resources, which will manage the land as a working forest.
