Michael Decker, also a middle linebacker, was a member of MSU's 1978 Big Ten championship team and was on the field at Spartan Stadium on Saturday when MSU honored the team on the 30th anniversary of its title-winning season. "It was very exciting to be back and see teammates I hadn't seen in 30 years," Michael Decker said. "It was a wonderful day -- capped off by Adam making that big play." For Adam, the sight of his dad brought back memories of the years when Michael was an assistant coach for some of Adam's grade school and high school teams.
