AFTER two years of delays and an avalanche of negative reviews, the US version of Kath & Kim is finally set to debut on American television. There remains one question: How long will the show stay on the air? If the atrocious reviews by American TV critics are matched by equally dismal ratings tomorrow night, NBC, the network gambling on Kath & Kim, may be forced to axe it after a couple of episodes. The writing is on the wall. The man responsible for buying the rights to the sitcom, NBC's chief programmer Ben Silverman, may be looking for a new job if the show bombs with viewers tomorrow.
