PGA Tour rookie Dustin Johnson of Myrtle Beach won the Turning Stone Resort Championship on Oct. 5 to earn $1.08 million and move up to 41st on the money list with more than $1.7 million earned with five Fall Series events remaining on the PGA Tour this season. He's playing in the $4.5 million Valero Texas Open, which tees off today. Johnson has the bonus this week of having played the golf course before. He's had to learn the nuances of just about every course during his rookie year on the tour, but his only PGA Tour event last year was the Texas Open at LaCantera Golf Club, where he missed the cut with rounds of 70 and 75.
