The parents of his late wife Kelly-Ann last night told the Irish Independent they want to seek custody of the children following McArdle's conviction for her manslaughter. News of the move came as McArdle arrived back in Ireland yesterday to await news of his sentence, which could take up to 10 days to emerge. Factory manager McArdle (39), from Dundalk, Co Louth, could receive a jail sentence of up to four years for the offence after a jury found him guilty in a Spanish court on Tuesday.
