Mannix Porterfield Register-Herald Reporter Daniel Lilly must have felt a kinship with professional footballers viewing a trip to the Super Bowl as the ultimate goal, even if their team ultimately loses the big game. En route to Nashville, drummer Steve Sparks spoke positively of a first-place finish in this year’s International Bluegrass Music Association’s awards.
