WOODSTOCK, Ga. -- A Woodstock man says he went to court to pay a traffic ticket and wound up a victim of police brutality. Police have a diffferent version of what happened. There is surveillance video and each side says it proves their case. Antwawne Kelly says it simply began with a traffic ticket for running a red light and a $75 fine. "September 24th I was due to come to court, but I had no gas to come to court for two days," said Kelly. What followed was a series of court appearances. Kelly was fined $50 for missing his court date, but the fine was eventually waived by the prosecutor and credited towards his $75 ticket. Kelly says he was essentially told he only had to pay the remaining $25. But when Kelly went back to Woodstock Municipal Court to pay, there was confusion over his fine.
