NORWALK By JILL BODACH Hour Staff Writer Many people across the country who qualify for prescription drug assistance programs don't even know it. The Partnership for Prescription Assistance was created in 2005 in order to help link Americans to the programs that might help them get the medications they need for less or even for free. PPA focuses primarily on patients who take medication on a daily basis. "We really wanted to be a one-stop shop for people to find out if they qualify for assistance programs through a fast, free, easy and confidential process," said Kate Michael, director of communications for the Pharmaceutical Research and Manufacturers of America.
