McNair: 'Do it a little bit better': Owner says Texans need some hard work, focus on strong finishes

Oct. 8--Texans owner Bob McNair sees other franchises with losing records in turmoil. But he doesn't view his own organization in disarray. The 0-4 start wasn't what McNair anticipated, but he is focusing on the finish rather than the start. McNair watched practice Thursday, and said afterward that he supports what his coaching staff has done up to this point and that he has no intention of making any coaching changes. "The last two games, we played very well," McNair said. "I suspect that any team that is playing well, the players are going to feel good about their coaches. And that's the way I feel. If we play 60 minutes like the way we played 56 minutes this last week, I don't know of any team on our schedule that will beat us. I don't know who it is.
