Kristopher Parker, Mike Osowik and Halina La Riccia rehearse a scene from “Coronado” as Will, Hal and Gina, respectively. The University of Toledo Department of Theatre and Film will perform Dennis Lehane’s “Coronado” Friday through Sunday, Oct. 10-12, and Thursday through Sunday, Oct. 23-26, in the Center for Performing Arts Studio Theatre on Main Campus. The play is essentially a study of the lengths some people will go to for love — from lies to murder. Best known as the writer of the screenplay for “Mystic River,” Lehane wrote “Coronado” in 2006. Jeannette Turner, a UT student majoring in theatre, will direct the production.
