CRICKET Australia boss James Sutherland is delighted with Andrew Symonds's progress but has told the troubled allrounder that "talk is cheap" as he tries to win back his baggy green cap. As a depleted Australia enter a pitched battle half a world away in the first Test against India today, Symonds has had high-level talks with Sutherland and CA general manager Michael Brown in Brisbane. The "amicable" talks may have been the most important step so far in Symonds's rehabilitation as the allrounder has carried a chip on his shoulder since butting heads with his employers last summer over the Harbhajan Singh race row.
