Wine, women and song ... that’s been the Mötley Crüe philosophy for almost 30 years and the band brings its circus to Singapore this month. THE Rolling Stones made a career out of rock ‘n’ roll decadence in the 1960s, then Aerosmith snatched the mantle from the Brits in the following decade but the world couldn’t have been prepared for the arrival of Los Angeles’ favourite sons at the dawn of the 1980s. Singer Vince Neil, drummer Tommy Lee, bassist Nikki Sixx and guitarist Mick Mars, the guys that make Mötley Crüe, hit Sunset Strip in Hollywood with its debut Too Fast For Love in 1981 under its own Leathur Records label, terrorising pop metal and synth pop fans in its wake.
