Regis' sales increase falls short of forecast Regis Corp. said its fiscal first-quarter sales rose 1.9 percent, below the company's forecast, as its European operations and a deconsolidation of beauty schools reduced revenue. Shares fell 1.9 percent in after-hours trading as the Edina company also lowered its full-year earnings guidance. For the quarter ended Sept. 30, the salon operator said revenue climbed to $680.2 million as same-store sales fell 1.6 percent.
