Turkish officials participated in a ceremony in Mongolia yesterday opening a school named after Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, the founder of the Turkish Republic, and inaugurated a street named after Turkey’s capital city of Ankara. The school, located in the Mongolian capital of Ulan Bator, was funded in part by the Turkish Cooperation and Development Agency (TİKA) and includes a bust of Atatürk. TİKA in addition installed a computer center at the facility. Speaking at the ceremony, Deputy Prime Minister Hayati Yazıcı said the two countries share a common culture.
