Associated Press - October 6, 2008 5:05 PM ET McALLEN, Texas (AP) - The city of McAllen is suing the state attorney general to keep the public from seeing details of an effort to lure a German automobile manufacturer to South Texas. The Monitor newspaper in June requested travel documents about trips to Germany by economic development officials. The city apparently was in the running for a plant.
