Financial aid extended to veteran athletes

Staff Reporter GUNTUR: Guntur-based L.V.R & Sons Club has provided financial succour to two veteran athletes, competing for title honours at the World Veteran Athletics Championships to be held at Bangkok in Thailand in November. Member of Parliament Rayapati Sambasiva Rao handed over a cheque of Rs.25,000 each to sprinter Vellithingal Vijaya and H. Rama Sundari (Hammer Throw) at a programme on the club premises on Monday.
