Former Cobo director pleads guilty in FBI probe of city corruption

Elrick • Free Press Staff Writers • October 6, 2008 Glenn Blanton, who ran Cobo Center under then-Mayor Kwame Kilpatrick from 2004 to 2007, pleaded guilty today to obstruction of justice in a wide-ranging FBI investigation of corruption in Detroit city government.
