Bill Sammon alleged that Congressman Frank had escaped blame for the problems at Fannie Mae because he was gay. Sammon's piece wasn't exactly original reporting. He paraphrased an earlier article titled, "Media Mum on Barney Frank's Fannie Mae Love Connection."
