Veteran hurler would pitch on his normal four days' rest MLB Headlines CHICAGO -- Mark Buehrle will start for the White Sox on Wednesday if they force a deciding Game 5 in the American League Division Series, manager Ozzie Guillen confirmed on Monday afternoon. Until Monday, a second start for Buehrle in this series was more like a strong possibility than anything definite. Chicago's veteran left-hander pitched in Game 2 of the series on Friday night and took a 3-2 deficit into the eighth inning before the Rays added three more runs, leaving Buehrle with five runs allowed on 10 hits over his seven-plus innings. A Game 5 assignment would come on his normal four days of rest.
