Clive Allen's side played their part in a cracking match at Leyton Orient but ended up on the wrong end of a narrow defeat to Portsmouth. Goals from Charlie Daniels (pictured) and Adel Taarabt gave us a half-time lead before we were pegged back after the break to leave us contemplating a second successive Barclays Reserve League South defeat. It was entertaining from the start as the visitors created the best of the early openings, but both Gael Nlundulu and Djimi Traore failed to covert free headers.
