Mottaki stresses need for strengthening Iran-Eritrea ties

Iran's Foreign Minister Manouchehr Mottaki in a meeting with visiting Eritrean Information Dissemination Minister, Ahmad Abdo, stressed need for strengthening Tehran-Asmara cultural and media ties. According to IRNA Political Desk reporter, the Islamic Republic of Iran Foreign Ministry's Information and Media Head Office reported that Mottaki in the meeting referred to the independence seeking struggles of Eritrean people in their anti-colonialist campaign, arguing, "High self esteem of the present generation of Eritreans is one of the fruits of your people's anti-colonialist struggles."
