Fifa chief wants stricter rules for foreign owners Fifa president Sepp Blatter has expressed his concern over the influx of foreign owners in English football. Only eight of the 20 clubs in the Premier League are currently in English hands as foreign investors look to get involved in football. The fears over the involvement of foreign owners in English football has been the subject of debate for some time and Blatter fears it could have an affect on the futures of a number of clubs.
