N.J. aims to triple its reliance on wind energy

By WAYNE PARRY Associated Press • October 6, 2008 ATLANTIC CITY - New Jersey is powering up its plan for wind energy. Gov. Jon Corzine says the Garden State is tripling the amount of wind-generated energy it plans to use by 2020, to 3,000 megawatts. That would be 13 percent of New Jersey's total energy.
