Roundup resident named Miss Teen Montana

Big Sky Country has a new Miss Teen Montana. Ashley Adkins of Roundup competed against 700 other Montana teens last weekend and came out with the title. Adkins took home a sash, medal, and $1,000 cash that must go towards educational purposes. Her next step will be to apply for the national title, which will be based on personal development, achievement in school and community and her scholastic record. Adkins is in several activities, including volleyball, basketball and BPA. The new Miss Teen Montana is proud to lead the teens of her state and has some words of advice for them. "Always go for, always have dreams and goals, and try to reach them, because you never know what's going to happen.
