BROKEN ARROW, Okla. -- Cody Kent of Castle Rock, Colo., held off fellow competitors to win the Boys Division of the Scissortail Junior Championship by one-stroke with a six-foot par putt on No. 18. In the Girls Division, Alexandra Stewart of Peoria, Ariz., conquered the field with a nine-stroke victory at 2-under-par 214 for the tournament. Conducted by the American Junior Golf Association, the Scissortail Junior Championship was a 54-hole stroke play event held at Emerald Falls Golf Club. The field consisted of 97 players, 74 boys and 23 girls, from 14 states and Taiwan. The Boys Division played the par-72 course at 7,004 yards and the Girls Division at 6,094 yards.
