Writers follow Jimmy advice

Aug 15 2008 by Tina Miles, Liverpool Echo A NEW Liverpool play has been created by writers who were tutored by Jimmy McGovern. The award-winning writer suggested the members of MS Writers Kensington created a play about the city. Merseyside actors have the chance to audition for The Long and Winding Road on Saturday, August 30 and Sunday, August 31. Auditions are from 1pm to 5pm at Kensington Fields Community Centre, Hall Lane. It will be performed at Liverpool Community College Theatre from October 22 to October 24.
