Malisse back in Belgian Davis Cup team

Former Wimbledon semifinalist Xavier Malisse will end a self-imposed four-year exile from Belgium's Davis Cup team to face Switzerland and Roger Federer in their upcoming tie. The 28-year-old Malisse was named in Belgium's team to face Switzerland in a world group playoff at Lausanne on Sept. 19-21. He joined Steve Darcis, ranked 63 in the world, and No. 72 Olivier Rochus. Now ranked 155, Malisse has won three ATP tour singles titles and reached the last four at Wimbledon in 2002. The Swiss team will be led by outgoing world No. 1 Federer and No. 10 Stanislas Wawrinka, both currently playing at the Olympics. They won their doubles quarterfinal in Beijing on Friday.
