BY KAUSTUV BASU • FLORIDA TODAY • August 7, 2008 The National Weather Service in Melbourne has issued a severe thunderstorm warning till 7:15 p.m. for southern Brevard county including Palm Bay, West Melbourne, Melbourne, Melbourne Beach, Malabar, Indian Harbour Beach, Indialantic and adjacent areas. Winds in excess of 60 mph are possible. Frequent lightning, heavy rain and destructive hail are possible, the weather service said. The storm is moving northeast at speeds of 6 mph.
