Bob Gates: The Man for Intelligence Design

David Ignatius has an interesting proposal for Bob Gates after he leaves his position as Secretary of Defense. Here, he suggests that Gates lead a commission cleaning up our security agencies. Gates may be SOD, but he realizes the need for more than a military approach to our international problems. Ignatius notes, “Amazingly for a defense secretary, Gates has been arguing against the “creeping militarization” of foreign policy.
