Weather delay at PGA Championship

Play has been suspended due to inclement weather during the first round of the PGA Championship at the South Course at Oakland Hills. Dark skies and ominous weather in the area forced officials to stop play around 5:35 p.m. (et) Thursday. The forecast called for some inclement weather throughout the afternoon. No timetable has been set to return to the course. Robert Karlsson, the only player with top-10 finishes in all three major championships this year, and Jeev Milkha Singh from India are in the clubhouse atop the leaderboard at two-under 68. Two-time U.S. Open champion Retief Goosen and Jonathan Byrd are two-under par and in the middle of their rounds.
