Associated Press - August 7, 2008 4:33 PM ET CLEVELAND (AP) - The New York Jets will overshadow their first preseason game today by introducing quarterback Brett Favre (fahrv), who was acquired from the Green Bay Packers last night. Packers general manager Ted Thompson says trading Favre was difficult emotionally but added he thought all parties involved felt the deal was the best result for a difficult situation. Jets general manager Mike Tannenbaum says quarterback Chad Pennington will be traded, making Kellen Clemens the backup to Favre. BLOOMFIELD, Mich.
