Posted to the web 7 August 2008 Alloycious David Monrovia The appointment of Augustine Ngafuan and Amara Konneh as Finance and Planning and Economic Affairs Ministers respectively has become a public debate with a pro-democracy group expressing fear over the ability of the two youngmen to serve independently. The Movement for the Revival of the Liberian Society (MORLS) said it harbors fear that Mr. Ngafuan will turn a 'surrogate Finance Minister'. The group Executive Director, Kofa Kloh told reporters Wednesday that he hopes President Ellen Johnson-Sirleaf will not consider Mr. Ngafuan as a proxy minister because of his youthfulness and inexperience.
