Since returning from their summer break, the Toffees have won two tournaments as they gear up for the 2008/09 campaign. But Spence is refusing to get carried away especially with the tough Community Shield match against Arsenal on Thursday evening. “We have done well in the couple of tournaments we have played in,” he told evertonTV. “The winning is not massively important at this time of the season but we are still happy to win as winning breeds winning and hopefully we will carry that on into the season. “The squad have worked really hard since the summer break.
