Fore: Anniversary of the August 7, 1998, Bombings of the U.S. Embassies in Kenya and Tanzania WASHINGTON, Aug. 7 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Today marks the ten-year anniversary of the bombings of the United States Embassies in Nairobi, Kenya, and Dar es Salaam, Tanzania. Therefore, to the families and loved ones of all the victims of this senseless tragedy, and on behalf of the United States Agency for International Development, I wish to convey our continued sympathy, thoughts and prayers.
