Nine Things We Think We Know About Hard Knocks

Added HBO at about 4 pm Wednesday - at the expense of Starz and ‘the movie package’ - for two reasons: 1) Hard Knocks, and 2) Entourage. Really liked the first episode of Hard Knocks (this guy didn’t) last night. 1. Show might need a bit more Terrell Owens. His consistently funny remarks (”2 … sexy!” and the t-shirt line, just to name a couple) had us cracking up. There are at least two kinds of arrogant, and he’s the palatable one. 2. Significantly less Jerry Jones would be a good thing. We get the hands-on owner thing … but he doesn’t appear to be the kind of guy we’d want to work for. 3. It’s comical that Wade Phillips has one of the best teams in the league, and at the same time probably less power/control than any other coach in the NFL.
