Arroyo, accompanied by First Gentleman Jose Miguel Arroyo and Philippine government officials, gave away four truckloads of Oishi products donated by Special Envoy Carlos Chan, Malacañang officials said. Sichuan, home province of Chinese leader Deng Xiaoping, was the site of a magnitude 8 earthquake, which killed 70,000, injured 370,000, caused 18,000 to be listed as missing, and caused 1.48 million to be relocated.
