Bellamy vows to bounce back

West Ham striker Craig Bellamy has vowed to spring back to form in September after being ruled out for a month with a hamstring injury. The Wales captain will miss the opening weeks of the Barclays Premier League season with the injury he sustained in a 5-3 friendly win against Ipswich on Monday. He is set to sit out games against Wigan, Manchester City and Blackburn but could be back for Alan Curbishley's side for the trip to West Brom on September 13. The former Newcastle and Liverpool forward is also a major doubt for Wales' World Cup qualifiers against Azerbaijan on September 6 and Russia on September 10. 'I am out for a month and so it is gutting for me not to be able to start the season, especially as I have had a great pre-season and worked really hard,' he told West Ham's official website.
