Dineo Matomela EDUCATION REPORTER A NELSON Mandela Metropolitan University student has had her dream of studying abroad fulfilled after being selected for the Fulbright Scholar programme in the United States. Judy Sikuza, 22, who graduated with an honours degree in industrial psychology at NMMU this year, will study towards her master‘s degree in organisational psychology at Columbia University, New York, this month. Sikuza said she was fortunate to be one of 25 students in South Africa selected to receive a fully-sponsored opportunity to study in US. She applied for the scholarship because she wanted to study in the US, was short-listed, and then was interviewed at Rhodes University last May.
