Staff report Originally published 11:29 a.m., August 6, 2008 Bicyclists will be out in number Saturday in Henderson, Ky., as the 5th Annual Pickin’ and Pedalin’ Bike Tour gets under way. The city’s premier biking event begins at 8 a.m. at Audubon Mill Park on the Henderson riverfront and includes 12-, 38- and 62-mile routes through the historic downtown area, along the riverfront and into the countryside. Rest stops will include music by bluegrass bands, including Sandy Creek, Southern Flavor and Up & Gone. Although 8 a.m. is the official start, riders can register until 10 a.m. Cost is $25 per person, $53 for a family, and includes T-shirts for $10.
