(AP photo / August 4, 2008) ANAHEIM, Calif. - When Orioles manager Dave Trembley summoned George Sherrill from the bullpen in the bottom of the eighth inning, his goal was for his closer to get some work in. After all, the Orioles trailed the best team in the major leagues by four runs and Sherrill hadn't pitched in five days. Little did Trembley know at the time that Sherrill would throw the decisive pitch in the game.
