Leona D. Dannehl

Enid, OK — The funeral for Leona D. Dannehl, 84, of Okarche, will be 10 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 7, 2008, at St. John’s Lutheran Church, Okarche . Pastor David Ersland will officiate. Burial will follow in the St. John’s Lutheran Cemetery. Arrangements are by of Sanders Funeral Service, Kingfisher. She was born Aug. 11, 1923, in Okarche to John F. and Minnie Schroeder Ahlden and died Aug. 3, 2008, in Kingfisher Regional Hospital. She lived in the Okarche area most of her life. She married Albert R. Dannehl Sept. 26, 1943, in Okarche. She was a member of the church and Ladies Aid. They moved to Glendale, Ariz., for 13 years before returning to Okarche.
