An official says four people were seriously wounded when a bomb exploded on a minibus in the Iraqi Shiite city of Karbala. It was the second such attack in the holy city in just over a week. Salim Kadim, the spokesman of Karbala's health directorate, says the wounded were aboard the minibus. Monday's blast occurred near the shrine of one of Shiite Islam's most revered saints. Pilgrims are expected to begin pouring into Karbala this week for a festival marking the birth the last Shiite imam who is known as the Hidden Imam because he disappeared in the 9th century.
