Come September 1, some Monroe County families will be greatly impacted by a change to daycare subsidies. County Executive Maggie Brooks announced Friday that the county is raising the income eligibility for daycare subsidies. That means fewer local families will be eligible for subsidized day care and families who are eligible will have to pay more. Some families say this news is devastating. Keisha Mitchum said, "I have low income and this helps me a lot.
