city lights resemble lightning when it's pouring rain

i was going to write about today but decided yesterday was more intresting. :D we went to times square last night. we being my mom, dad and little brother Michael (he's eleven) first off, the city is beautiful at night. i can't say this enough. guhh it's amazing. the crowds of people, the smells (okay not all of the smells are wonderful...), the stores. i really really REALLY love going there at night. second off, ALWAYS watch the weather before you go out. especially without an umbrella. you will never see new yorkers run to the same shelter like when the rain comes pouring down. it was fun though. running with the masses towards the same building. we talked to the people around us about how the rain had caught all of us off gaurd and how we're all gonna get sick. then it stopped a bit later and we went walking and guess...
