Hear: Time for Yoga

YOGA LIN: Mystery YOGA Lin, 20-year-old winner of the first season of Taiwanese television singing contest One Million Star (sic) last year, may not have been the first off the track when it comes to having a solo debut album — that honour goes to fellow contestants Afalean Lu and Aska Yang — but it may prove wiser. With all the commercial endorsements and compilation releases with fellow finalists, he certainly has a lot on his plate but the upside is that all this is helping to make this young artiste a household name and that, surely, is a good thing. So while Afalean and Aska’s efforts are fizzling out quickly, Yoga’s Mystery is making more headway. To be fair, the album does boast talented song writers and lyricists from the Chinese music scene.
